New research from Pennsylvania State University has found that each of us is regularly producing our own personal cloud of pollutants, which actually affects indoor air quality. Don't start sniggering and blaming the dog though – it's not the way you think. The team found that oils on our skin and clothes are reacting with ozone in the air, producing a range of volatile and semi-volatile substances.

Group of friends working out of a home garage wins the 97th Pikes Peak International

Robin Shute, this year's winner, ascends the Pikes Peak racetrack above cloud level

This year's overall Pikes Peak win was taken by a group of friends who found themselves short of a team when Faraday Future pulled out of competition last year. With no factory backing, they bought themselves a car, tuned it up and took an 11-second victory.

No matter how good your eyesight, there's a decent chance that it'll start to fade at a certain point in your life. Presbyopia is a common form of age-induced far-sightedness, where the lenses in the eyes become stiff and have trouble focusing on close-up objects. Now a Stanford team has developed a pair of high-tech specs called autofocals, which use fluid-filled lenses, depth-sensing cameras and eye-tracking technology to make sure whatever a wearer is looking at stays sharp.
